WHAT'S UP? So, what's up in the world of English language learning? There is a lot going on and so many resources available today that it can get confusing! I have put together my own personal list of favourite language tools (websites, books and apps) that can help you while you're learning English. There are tools for every level and taste. Of course, these tools are NOT a substitute to an English course with a native English speaker! They are intended as extra support and self-study for the student.
WEBSITES The Internet offers many websites for language study. I have put together a selection of very useful websites that students can use for practice and self-study: grammar and vocabulary practice, interactive games, exam preparation and videos. I will be constantly searching for new online sites and services to help you in the English learning process. Take time to try all of the websites and then you can choose your favourites! Most of of them are free and they are amazing!

GRADED READERS Graded reading in English is an excellent support during the learning process. Plus, reading expands your mind and enriches your soul. A graded reader is one of a series of books ranked by grade level, reader level or another level of difficulty. Graded readers are used by learners at specific stages of their foreign language studies. Learners practice reading skills and gain reading fluency and new vocabulary. There is a wide assortment of topics you can choose from. You can find graded readers in the best bookshops and on Amazon.

WHAT'S YOUR APP? Many people are familiar with whatsapp, the cross-platform mobile messaging app. But do you know what inspired this name? "App" stands for "application and the name WhatsApp is a clever pun (a play on words) on the phrase "what's up", which is an informal greeting in American English that means "what's going on?" or "how are things?".
